My friend Dawn and I, and my dog Kylie too, drove from Washington state to Waco, TX to get me settled before starting my new job at the Cameron Park Zoo. We covered over 2,300 miles in 4 days before finally arriving in Waco, TX. We drove through some small towns on the way including "Italy", "Dublin", and "Muleshoe". It was a long trip through a lot of open fields. What I still don't get is why there was so much construction? At least 1/4 of our trip was through construction zones with no workers or equipment. I just don't get it I guess...

#72 - Drive Cross Country - DONE!
